Carlos Hyde

Tressel said he's going to get on campus in January and be on the team next year. We are going to be STACKED at RB next year, it's an embarrassment of riches. (Saine, Herron, Berry, Hyde, Martin, Hall, Roderick Smith) And Boren's only a freshman, too.

And if he have an extra scholarship left, we could offer Erick Howard, last year's Ohio Mr. Football

Pryor can run as well. We should only recruit OL this year and then run the ball for 3 yards every play. Undefeated. We'd be the Texas Tech of running.

Texas Tech and running should never be in the same sentence, even for metaphors.

Metaphor is defined as: a figure of speech in which a term or phrase is applied to something to which it is not literally applicable

Since running is applied to Texas Tech it is a metaphor. Even though it's negative, it is still comparing running to Texas Tech, making it a metaphor.

I thought a metaphor was like "Carlos Hyde is an animal"

It says something is another thing. Ask your English teacher.

My english teacher resigned. -_-

A metaphor is two opposites compared. Texas Tech and running = Opposites.

Metaphor: a figure of speech in which an expression is used to refer to something that it does not literally denote in order to suggest a similarity

The English language is appalled at your convoluted explanations of the definitions of one's lexicon.

With all of that talent at the running back position we should have an offense that utilizes two of them at the same time. Maybe Pryor in the shotgun with Herron on one side and Saine on the other.  That would be 3 running threats in the backfield not to mention Posey, Carter, and or Sanzenbaucher at reciever.  It would be hell for opposing defenses.  But Tressel likes to keep it old school which is respectable but we could be unstoppable with that kind of spread offense.

Pryor + Saine + Boom + 3D + Hyde + Berry = Incredible

Can't wait for the Rose Bowl and the 2010 season.
