Dan Uggla had 6 early homeruns in the 2008 HR Derby in NYC. That number was very small compared to Josh Hamilton's 28 first round homeruns. At least Uggla was in the HR Derby. Maybe next year he can compete again in the homerun derby.
Hanley Ramirez and Dan Uggla are both on the roster for tonight's All-Star Game.
