TD Ameritrade will pay $20 million during the next 20 years for naming rights to the new Omaha stadium that will be home to the College World Series.
The online brokerage company and the Metropolitan Entertainment and Convention Authority have scheduled a news conference for Wednesday to announce the deal.
The $128 million, 24,000-seat stadium will host the College World Series beginning in 2011. It will replace Rosenblatt Stadium, home to the CWS since 1950 and the minor league Omaha Royals since 1969.
The Royals have secured a deal to move to a yet-to-be-built stadium near suburban Papillion.
TD Ameritrade is an online brokerage firm based in Omaha, with about 2,000 employees in the area.
