They made me. Jim, yes he made a bad call, but he got so much crap for it. Being a Tigers fan, I was first upset with him, but we are human. We make mistakes. What if Joyce was your father, relative? How would you feel if he was constantly being told to die and other things over one bad call? Yes, that did ruin the perfect game for Galaraga, but Galaraga proved how great of a person he is. First, he didn't freak out when the call happened, and to remain calm and forgive Joyce after the game...that is a real class act. The fact that Joyce was emotional heading into todays game and the cheers outweighed the boos was also a great thing too. While as a Tigers fan I am upset Galaraga didn't get the perfect game, I am very pleased with how things turned out for both parties.
