Allright. It all started while I was playing NCAAF 2005. North Texas would always play Texas. About half of the time, they would win. And, they would almost always go un-deafeated or in the Top 10. So, I would root for themwhile I would sim. Then, I would always be North Texas on the later versions of NCAAF. I even made a YouTube channel devoted to a quarterback I made up. Then, I was just a follower of them. But, I was filling out a bracket for the basketball tournament 2 years ago, and I noticed North Texas was in it. So, that was when I first really started rooting for them. By football season in 2007, I was pretty much a fan of them. But, I had tickets to Penn State, so it was a difficult task to keep track of them. But, I was able to recap the season after it was over. But, the day I became a die-hard fan was at Christmas last year. I received a North Texas hoodie. Later, as I was walking with friends, One of them mixed up words in his sentence, making the adjective a noun. So I said jokingly, "North Texas is rock." In stead of North Texas rocks. So, that is how I get almost all of my screennames I use. So, now that I am a true fan, I will try to follow UNT more closely. Also, North Texas is pretty much what keeps my frienship alive. They are all Ohio State fans, I was raised a Penn State fan. So, we can all just agree that we all like North Texas, even my friends who don't like sports, will come over and ask how UNT is doing.
