"Heroes are forgotten but legends never die" - Babe Ruth
Game 162 - 1:05 - The Cell - WGN
Freddy - I can't pitch anymore - Garcia (1-1 4.50 ERA) Gavin - Not Pink - Floyd (16-8 3.91ERA)
Scouting Report:Tigers: The rotation order just worked out for Garcia to be on turn for a possible Monday outing if the game was necessary. If it is, he'll be in the curious position of having a chance to either knock his former team out of the division title or force them into a one-game playoff. All in all, it's not a bad way to end a late-season comeback from shoulder surgery that cost him more than a year off the mound. Since he was planning on starting his winter ball campaign in his native Venezuela in a few weeks, the extra work won't be a big deal.
White Sox: Floyd almost stopped the bleeding for the White Sox again on Thursday night at the Metrodome, going in search of his 10th victory this season after a White Sox loss. Floyd allowed four runs on 11 hits over 5 2/3 innings, walking one and striking out four, but he managed to strand seven Minnesota runners. Floyd finished wit a no-decision, when the bullpen couldn't hold a two-run lead. If Monday's game against Detroit is necessary, Floyd would be opposed by Freddy Garcia, a 2005 World Series hero for the White Sox. Floyd has a 2-0 record with a 4.24 ERA against Detroit this season and is 3-0 lifetime against the Tigers. Floyd will be pitching on three days rest, having lost his last time in Kansas City following the short break.
But nobody is beating Penn State this season. Or at least nobody from the Big 10.
Why because they win games by 40 against weak teams?
From what I saw from the Illinois game they couldn't stop a decent QB in Clark, Penn States WR were always wide open. Illinois is nowhere near how good they were last year. Michigan will also beat Penn State because they always do.

Yeah, because you guys really destroyed Ohio and Minnesota..
And what does Illinois have to do with anything? I never said they where better then Penn State, or the Buckeyes for the matter.

Doubt it. The last thing the Tigers wanted to do was play this game, so you the majority of your star players (If they even play) won't be giving 1000 percent. Also, Floyd is pitching for us. He's been our best pitcher in the second half, and he's done a terrific job pitching in big games. The kid has "ice water in his veins". He's also owned you guys this year, and I really hope that can continue.
