B.J. Mullens played great against Samford. Dalas Laderdale also had a great game. With those two big men on the floor at the same time, Ohio State will be a powerhouse. Evan Turner played a great game too. He had a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. He had 5 steals also.
Ohio State isn't going to be a powerhouse. We could beat Miami, but we probably won't win against Notre Dame, Purdue, Michigan St, and Wisconsin. Heck, we might not even beat Michigan this year because Manny Harris is very good and they beat UCLA. All of our wins are going to come from playing smaller schools like Samford. We really can't tell how good OSU is because we haven't been tested yet.
I'm a huge OSU fan. But can you honestly think that OSU is going to beat these teams? BG almost came back and won against them. If we have trouble with a MAC team, how can we expect to beat some of the best teams in the country?
Look at this football season, Georgia's preseason number 1 and now they are like 19. Preseason rankings mean nothing, #3 Louisville lost to Western Kentucky. And WKU lost half there players from the team that made it to the sweet 16.
