cool. thanks. I found the 'settings' part of this site, so will update my info.

Is there any kind of 'info page' yet? or *.mog file, that will be the starting league file... to get an idea of what's the 'starting point'?

And, it's just... pick a team, start at the beginning of 2009, and go from there?

Yeah, the league will start with a .mog file.

And yes, you pick a team and you get 2009 rosters and go on from there.

(a 'deckape' is a sailor... just a 'grunt ape' (muscle), tromping arround deck, hauling lines... also known as a canvas-backer, from the days of canvas sails... just a grunt...)

pretty much 'standard rosters' in most 'starting mog files'? I've to the game, andhave played the Padres solo, so I can start fiddling.

or, will you be using one of the 'canned, common' .mog files that have been hung on SM, or other sites, for a base? I've seen others, and have a bunchof different copies.

(Just antsy to play with the toy! School doesn't let out for me in June; I teach college, but I can still enjoy me games!)

Most of the rosters are pretty much the same guys... unless late trades are swapped. Stats vary, but that can get hacked out in game setup... no prob...

 local college in Portland, OR... Portland Beavers are SD Padres AAA club... sorta, home-town connection... what the heck....

I teach computers, run a computer training program in high-end tools and technologies in the Microsoft materials... geek, long before being geek was chic... LOL!
