The defending Wimbledon champion, Rafael Nadal, will be the top seed on the men's side, while top-ranked Dinara Safina, despite losing in the French Open final, will be the top seed on the women's side.
This could end up being an interesting finish on the men's bracket here.
The favorite, Roger Federer, advanced.
England's hope of ending their long drought, Andy Murray, also advanced.
The 2002 Wimbledon champ, Lleyton Hewitt, and the oldest man in the tournament, Tommy Haas, are playing well again after recovering from numerous injuries.
And then you have the lone American man left, Andy Roddick, is playing well and has gone deeper in this tournament that he's ever been in his career.
In the matchup of Andys, it was Roddick who prevailed as he took out Murray in 4 sets, 6-4, 4-6, 7-6, 7-6.
A little dilemma here...
I want Roddick to win it so we'll have an American Wimbledon champion on this 4th of July weekend, but I would also like to see Federer break that record held by Sampras.
