Should the Big East kick out Notre Dame?

The Big East Conference should seriously explore evicting part-time member Notre Dame.  They should forget warnings, ultimatums, and strong notes?  It might be time to clean house.

Down here in the Sunshine State, we have a law called "Three Strikes and You're Out."  You commit three serious crimes? You're put away for good.

Last week Notre Dame committed their third serious infraction against a conference membertheir third in the last 18 months.

Well, then what does Notre Dame really bring to the Big East that they don't have now or can't get with from another school?

Let's look at the football side of things. Notre Dame keeps all the money and TV exposure. What does the Big East get?

Let's look at the other sports. Notre Dame gets a share of whatever money and TV exposure the Big East gets and also take the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament if they win Big East. What does the Big East get in return?

ND gets the Big East some Midwestern exposure, but that's it. They never will join a league in football.

They might, they make only about half as much from NBC than Big Ten teams (even Northwestern) do from ESPN BTN and other netqworks.
